The year 1989 saw the inception of one of Sri Lanka’s leading tea exporters,
which in turn became the world’s 3rd largest exporter of packeted tea within
a short span of 2 years. Qualitea has been on the forefront of delivering
superior grade tea varieties to the Middle East, Europe, United Kingdom and Asia,
while also specialising in introducing novelty and variety to a generation of tea enthusiasm.
For over 25 years, Qualitea has achieved numerous milestones,
with each more bountiful than its former. Here is the entire journey of how we came to inception – to our benchmarks.
